Coded Riddle

I have a riddle for you...

What did the ocean say to the shore?

The answer has 4 words.
On your paper, draw dashed lines to show how many letters are in each word.
1st word - 7 letters
2nd word - 2 letters
3rd word - 4 letters
4th word - 5 letters

Look at my example below.

You will use a coordinate grid to solve the riddle.

When working with a coordinate grid, you are provided coordinate pairs of two numbers that represent a point on the grid.

Let's solve the first coordinate pair together - (5,3).

The first number of the pair represents the "X" AXIS....or the horizontal line (goes left and right).
I colored it GREEN.

The second number of a coordinate pair represents the "Y" AXIS...or the vertical line (goes up and down). I colored it BLUE.

To solve (5,3) find the 5 on the green axis...then follow up to the 3 on the blue axis.

What letter?

N

Work through each letter until you solve the riddle.
